Etheric-double.
Sometimes known as the Etheric-body, ether-body, or æther body, this term is used in Theosophy and corresponds to the “linga sarina” concept in Sanskrit. While the Etheric-body and Astral-body can be seen as different frequency-ranges or “planes”, the energy-bodies in general do not correspond to the different planes of this universe.
The term “etheric body” is sometimes used to refer to Astral-body or other energy-bodies, so make sure you understand exactly what is being referred to.
The idea that the physical-body conforms to the shape of the Etheric-double is incorrect . . . while every structure in the Physical-universe Playing-field (the only universe that current “science” is aware of) is created directly by corresponding structures in the magick-universe planes of the physical-u, the Etheric-double is not part of how this works. The concept that the Etheric-double sustains the physical-body and connects it to higher bodies is not correct. It is not one of the auras, nor is it the “spirit”.
(This energy-body is not really red, but I wanted to illustrate the fact that it’s a lower frequency than the Astral-body).
The Etheric-double has a “root” below the feet, with an energy-line which connects up to the belly area where it connects to the main part of the Etheric-double. The Etheric-double doesn’t usually move away from the rest of the body-systems (although it can shift slightly, sometimes causing spinning sensations including travel-sickness if not rooted well), and is somewhat associated with emotions and emotional energies (when in poor condition, as is usual for humans on this planet at this time).
The Etheric-double, if in typical condition for a human on this planet, produces emotions in response to the aesthetic creations in the Astral-body. If in very good condition it works with some aspects of aesthetics, instead of emotions.
The Etheric-double is used and changed in some forms of Magick.
